Goodbye, feeling cold! I called this piece Warmer, because it is neither a vest nor a sweater, but it is reliably warm. There are days when the weather is changeable and we don't know whether to shed or add layers first. Sheep's wool is the solution to such dilemmas. Although it seems thin on the surface, it does its job faithfully. It warms pleasantly under jackets and coats, protects from the wind as a top layer and at the same time we don't feel overheat in it.
The warmer is not seamed at the sides, but loose with a tie, so it adapts to every figure. It is made of 100% sheep's wool from Austrian sheep from under the Tyrolean Alps. When I met the owner of this family-run Austrian manufactory, I was thrilled! They source their wool from regional farms and also have their own sheep, trying to save dying species that have stopped being bred due to the popularity of others. The wool is processed without any chemistry. The heat from the factory is reused in the recuperation again. They also recycle all the waste from production here. The wool is washed in clean mountain water. This treatment gives it durability and strength. The material is slightly elastic, it adapts to every figure.
This love of craftsmanship is very evident in the material. I have never held a similar quality in my hands. It doesn't scratch, it is very soft even for sensitive skin and you can feel the high proportion of lanolin, which guarantees its great properties, and which industrial manufacturers often deprive us of. I have a limited quantity of this wool and there will not be another batch.
